Happy Hour – Rick’s

The weather is warming up and sun is out much later in the day. Time has come for the happy hour review. I decided to go to Ric’s Restaurant  and Sports Bar in Camarillo.  Of course I’m always plugging my bands so Power Syndicate is performing there and I figured that would be a good place to start this year. Ric’s is located right in the middle of Camarillo nestled in a shopping center that has several other restaurants nearby. This doesn’t seem to effect the loyalty of their customers, as the place was packed. There is lots of parking, but that was pretty full too. As their name states, they’re a sports bar. There are 14 TVs all with different games on, so you should be able to see any game you wish. They also have live music several nights a week. The manager Theresa was very welcoming and helpful. The staff is friendly and courteous. There is a happy hour menu with appetizers and drink specials. I went for the Bloody Mary’s. Apparently the spicy mix is house made by the bartender. One of the best Bloodys I have had in a while. Also I had the fish and chips. It reminded me of a fish house in the Channel Islands harbor. So good. In conclusion, Ric’s is a great place and I recommend this restaurant
