Road 2 Austin Promotion:
Each month No Cover will hold a online music contest within a particular genre of music (December -indie,Rock/Alt., January -Reggae/Ska, February -Country/Rock-a-billy, and March- Singer song writer) to win the cover of No Cover!, 2 performances at the Texas Rock Fest in Austin in March and some cool prizes!
Bands Receive:
- No Cover Event Guide will add a written band watch of each artists that signs up (Band name, photo, and brief 30 word bio) up to 50 bands max per month.
- Bands will be highlighted on nocover.com and No Cover iPhone app in their online voting platform (band pic, music, brief bio)
- Promote your music to No Cover readers by having your tracks downloaded through our site.
- Bands will be added to No Cover Band data base and eligible to post upcoming events. (no hosting fees!)
- The monthly band/artist winner will receive the cover of No Cover with cover story.
- Over all Road 2 Austin winner will than be placed in the Finals and battle it out for a chance to win a slot to play Texas Rock Fest in Austin, TX during the South By Southwest contest.
Plus winning band will be decked out with Anarchy Eyewear, Draven shoes, Coffin Case guitar cases.
Fans Receive:
- All register voters will be eligible to download tracks from the competing bands/artists
- All registers voters with valid e-mails and contact info will be enter in the monthly contest to win either Anarchy Eyewear for the men or Angel Eyewear for the women.
- One lucky winner at the end of the promotion will be eligible to win and Ipod Touch!
Here is how it works:
- Bands submit small entry fee (to cover band internet set up costs)band info and photo.
- Bands will be posted to NoCover.com and No Cover iPhone voting app.
- Fans will log in their e-mail online, via their phone or ipod touch. Once e-mail is verified the fan will be allowed to vote for their favorite band.
- The top 3 bands with the most votes will than play a battle of bands in a California venue.
- The band with the most votes will win "home field advantage".
- The band that wins that month's battle of the bands will win monthly prize of cover of No Cover and chance to compete against other monthly winners for a chance to play Texas Rock fest during South By Southwest Music Festival.
